Just received my hooped nerf bars by Nfab. I have a 2015 crew cab. In the instructions that came with the package, it says I have to DRILL in order to mount the bars? I thought that already had factory holes to mount. Correct me if I'm wrong. I just think it's pretty ridiculous if I have to drill into my brand new truck just to mount the things. Any info is helpful, thanks

Put everything up against your truck and see if it lines up.

I would give them a call and see. When you ordered them, did it say no drilling required? On mine it was stated and that's why I got them.
Also I would do as gasser said, line them up and see. Are these rocker panel mounted or to the frame?

I bought some nerf bars off eBay and they fit in the factory bolt holes. I had to remove some factory bolts but they all lined up just fine. My bars were el cheapo's too. N-fab probably cost a lot more than mine.

I have the Nfab wheel to wheel bars on my 2014 2500 CC and there was NO DRILLING REQUIRED. They are built to use the same existing holes as factory nerf bars/steps.

I am getting the N-Fab wheel to wheel on my 14 Regular cab, and you do have to either drill a hole for the third mounting point at the top, of you self taping screws.
On my truck at least, there ar 2 open holes where you put there nut like products in there and bolt them in, but their is not another point for the very top. Another member here used self tapping screws and has no adverse affects.

I'm putting them in tomorrow, I'll post how it went and if drilling was required.

Just installed N Fab bars 2 days ago. Factory holes line up, then you mark and drill one hole for the top of the middle support. Next I bought some self tapping for the extra support holes. Drill and bit was too long to drill hole easy, I drilled a small hole at angle first then used a stepped short bit and worked up to a 1/2 hole.
